14:30: Round Table: Sustainability in Trade

In this round table discussion, we invite experts from the financial, legal, and business sectors to connect and explore the ramifications of recent global developments on sustainability and their effects on international trade. From navigating the intricate web of fragmented regulations to addressing concerns surrounding the hunt for greenwashing practices, this private-public, multi-sectoral dialogue aims to foster collaboration and consensus-building.

We will seek to identify key agenda items crucial for fostering long-term sustainable and responsible international trade.

For this discussion, we will be joined by ICC Global Head of Sustainability, Raelene Martin, who will provide us with insights into:

- Understanding the international policy landscape and its implications for businesses.

- Developments around sustainable trade finance and transactions.

- Exploring the business and financial impact of upcoming dialogues on plastic pollution, biodiversity, and the circular economy.
